Connect Groups are a place to connect into a consistent community to discuss the Bible, care for one another's needs, and ask questions about our faith. Reading, understanding, applying, and praying God’s Word together.
New groups launch at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters and meet regularly throughout the school year to study a sermon series, book of the Bible, or book study. If it's the middle of the semester, don't worry, let our team know and we will help you find a place as soon as possible!

The Bosley Group
This group is led by Kris & Amy Bosley and is geared toward adults in all stages of life. This group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm Childcare is provided on-site.
The Gummersheimer Group
This group is led by Cody and Annie Gummersheimer and is geared toward young adults and young families of all stages of life. This group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Childcare is provided on-site.
God's Daughters
This group is led by Kathy Watson & Cathy Johnson and is geared toward women of all stages of life. This group meets Every Monday at 10:00 am. Childcare is not provided.
The Kerns Group
This group is led by Adam and Cassie Kerns and is geared toward young adults and young families. This group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Childcare is provided on-site.
The Israel Course
This group is led by David Sougstad and is geared for everyone. This Connect Group will cover “The Israel Course,” a 20-lesson study assembled by Christians United for Israel (CUFI) designed to educate participants on the Christian connection to Israel and the Biblical reasons on why it’s important to support Israel. Childcare is not provided.
Jesus & Java
This group is led by Patti Eaves and meets every Monday at 8:30 am in the coffee bar of Encounter Church. This group is geared towards women of all stages of life. Childcare is not provided.
Sisters in Scripture
This group is led by Susie Johnson and is geared toward women of all stages of life. This group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Childcare is provided.
The Johnson Group
This group is led by David and Cathy Johnson and is geared towards adults in all stages of life. This group meets every Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Johnson house. Childcare is not provided.
Encounter Men's Group
This men's group meets every Sunday at 9am and every Wednesday at 11:30am. This group is geared toward men in all stages of life. Childcare is provided on-site Sundays only.
More Sunday Connect Group
This group is led by Jack Johnson and meet Sundays at 9:00 am. This group is geared toward adults in all stages of life. Childcare is provided.
Encounter Women's Group
This women's group is led by Dana Brookwalter and meets every Sunday at 9 am. This group is geared toward all women in all stages of life. Childcare is provided on-site.
Young Adults
This Young Adult group is for ages 18-26 years olds and is led by Daree Pemberton. This group will meet in the Encounter Church coffee bar Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Childcare is available.

This group is led by Mike & Robbi Rivers and is geared toward adults of all ages. This group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Childcare is provided on-site.
J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth)
This group is led by Victor and Vickie Young. They meet once a month. Keep checking for other various times J.O.Y. will meet. Childcare is not provided.
