Picnic in the park is a homeless ministry where we cook and deliver a hot meal. It happens every 3rd Sunday of the month at Elwood Park and it starts at 4:30.

Eastridge Mission Center

EMC provides services to refugee families in the Eastridge neighborhood. Hot meals, Bible studies, and activities are all provided to these refugees by EMC.
Spreading love, joy, peace, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to refugees is something that we support wholeheartedly.

Mission Amarillo's shoe closet provides free athletic shoes to students in Amarillo, Bushland, Canyon, Highland Park, and River Road ISD's. Since the shoe closets inception in August of 2010 Encounter Church has given away nearly 18,000 pairs of shoes.
