Encounter Church is honored that you chose to host your event here! Please follow these rules so that we may continue to offer our facilities free of charge to Encounter Church partners.
Please note: Your event will be added to the calendar upon receiving this signed agreement. By signing this agreement you agree to follow the rules below. If you fail to follow these rules and a janitor has to be called in to clean, you will be held responsible to pay the cost to have the area you used cleaned. The cleaning cost is $250.
1. Please do not use glitter, confetti or artificial snow when decorating any area of the church.
2. Please wipe down and thoroughly cleanse all surfaces you may have used during your visit (even if it “looks good” it still needs to be disinfected).
3. Sweep all areas to ensure that the floors are clean before you leave. Please be thorough and sweep both the easy to reach paths as well as under the tables and in the kitchen area.
4. Mop any spills that may have occurred, the mop bucket and mop are located in the kitchen “janitor’s closet” as well as the floor cleanser.
5. Carry out all trash, making sure that the bags are completely in the dumpster. Please do not place trash beside or on top of the dumpster. (Please check restroom trash containers for dirty diapers and pull-ups and empty those as well.)
6. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes or utensils that you or your guests may have used during your stay. The cabinets are marked for easy and proper storage.
7. Take all of your leftovers with you. Please do not leave any unused food items in the Gathering Place or the Youth Building, on the baker's rack, in the refrigerator, or on the counters.
8. Return tables or chairs to their original placement, especially if you moved them or if you got “extra’s” to accommodate your function.
9. Turn off the lights as well as any electronic & thermostats that you may have used during your stay, including the bathrooms in the hallway, as you exit. (Thermostats should be set to the “off” position in the Summer, 50 degrees in the Winter)
10. Supplies: Please furnish all supplies for your event including table coverings, plates, cups, plastic silverware, etc.
11. If you reserve the Youth Building, Gym and Game Room your reservation is specific to that area only and does not include the Encounter Kid’s area or the Encounter Youth Sanctuary.
12. No alcohol and/or smoking is allowed anywhere on church property (including the parking lot).
13. Please note if using the backyard area: You will need to supply your own canopy's, volleyballs, basketballs, pickleball equipment and outdoor grill. The church's equipment is reserved for church events only.
14. If you bring a bouncer or waterslide to use, the church is void of responsibility for use on Encounter Church property. These items are used at your own risk.
15. Please make sure the patio is clean with all spills washed off (use the hose located on the patio) and all trash is picked up in the backyard area.
16. Please no paint of any kind used on the patio, tables or chairs.
